Meet our newbie...Emily Thresh

IDL are pleased to announce the latest additional to our growing and ambitious team, Emily Thresh.

Emily has joined IDL as our accounts and service coordinator, after her first month we caught up with her to find out how she is getting on.

How has your first few weeks at IDL been?

The first few weeks at IDL have been good!  I am new to the catering equipment industry and have had a lot to learn, however I’ve been supported by the IDL team which has made it so much easier.

What have you been doing since you’ve started?

I’ve been trained on Autoquotes which is a programme designed to produce quotations for catering equipment, the programme is simply to use but really does provide our customers with a lot of information, equipment specifications and images. I have also been training to use our accounts programme, sage.

I have also managed to speak to several of our great customers and started to build a nice working relationship with them.

My first few weeks has also included some manufacturers training with MKN, Rational, Lincat and Falcon to name but a few.

What attracted you to work for IDL?

I’m at a stage in my career where I’m looking to develop my own career, but also have a big contribution to the success of a business as well.  IDL have a lot of existing plans for the future and I could see myself fitting in with those plans perfectly.

Finally, tell us an interesting fact about you!

Since I was 12 years old, I have been riding my horse, Coco!

Coco is a strong character and keeps me on my toes.

I am very creative and have a keen interest in beauty and makeup.
